Matching Pajamas!

Grandma Scharf made Kyle and Landon matching pajamas and Landon thinks it is the coolest thing ever! They were running around the house dancing and Landon kept saying, "Daddy just like me!"

Pumpkin Carving

Landon and Grandpa Larry got to carve a pumpkin together! Landon still wasn't so sure of the icky stuff inside, but he did help a little. The highlight for him was picking tomatoes off of Grandma Kathy's vine and eating them!

Train Town

This past weekend Landon and I took a trip to Santa Rosa to visit Grandma and Grandpa! Kyle was away on a men's retreat so it was a good chance for us to get away too! On Saturday we went to Train Town in Sonoma and had a great time! Landon loved the little steam train and getting to walk through the little houses in the town!

MOPS Pumpkin Patch Trip

On Tuesday we went to Resendiz Family Fruit Farm in Hughson with our MOPS group. It was a great trip- we had a picnic lunch, fed fish in the pond, planted little broccoli plants, walked through the petting zoo, had a snack from the bakery and got to pick out a pumpkin. It was a lot of fun for both Landon and as he calls her "my sister, Zoe"!

Small Group Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

This past weekend we went to Del Ossos Pumpkin Patch in Lathrop with our small group. We had so much fun! Landon got to hang out with all his friends- notice that he is the only boy in the group! He got to ride a horse, go in the petting zoo, play in an old western town and climb tires- what more could a little boy want! We went to pick out a pumpkin and Landon walked around the hole pumpkin patch and said he didn't want any of the pumpkins, because he wanted a little pumpkin. So he got to pick out 3 little pumpkins at the front. It was a great trip and we are blessed with such a wonderful small group!

Daddy's 30th Birthday!

For Kyle's 30th birthday we spent the day at Micke Grove in Stockton. They have a little zoo, Japenese Tea Gardens, water fountains to play in and great parks! We had a very fun family day and enjoyed celebrating with Kyle!

Stockton Children's Museum

This past Friday we decided to take Landon to the Children's Museum in Stockton and he loved it! There is so much for him to do and explore there and we had a great time watching him. They have a real fire truck, police car, police motorcycle, bus, helicopter, and ambulance for the kids to get in and play. Those were the highlights for Landon, but they also have a play grocery store, post office, bank, hospital and salon (hence the face painting) along with lots of science experiment type activities. Landon loved dressing up like a doctor and listening to everyone's heart. It was a ton of fun and even Zoe had fun in the farm play area!
