It's a girl! It's a girl!

This week we went and had a 3-D ultrasound done of the twins! It was so much fun to watch them move around and kick and hit at each other! We discovered during this ultrasound that we are having 2 girls!!!! Excitement can not begin to describe how we feel about this news!! Landon is glad that we are having 2 girls as well, but says they have to wear blue not pink! This picture didn't scan all that well, but hopefully you can get the gist of the two of their heads looking at each other. The one on the left is smiling and the one on the right is covering her face with one of her hands. Kyle says it looks like they are playing peek-a-boo!

Funworks with Cady

Today my friend Heather and I took the kids to Funworks to play on their inside jungle gym since it was a rainy cloudy day. Cady and Landon had a lot of fun playing together and especially liked the walk we took around the mini-golf course. It was so cute watching them hold hands and play together. Afterwards we took them to McDonalds for lunch- it was a perfect day for a two-year old!

Easter Eggs

Last night we had some friends over for dinner and let the kids color Easter Eggs together. It was so much fun and the boys had a blast playing with the eggs in the dye. Landon's hands are still blue and green today! It was a great evening!

Western Railway Museum

The conductor let Landon try on his hat and he thought he was pretty cool!

This past week we spent five days in Santa Rosa so Kyle could redo the tile in my mom and Larry's front entry way. It was a great visit and Landon loved being at Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Larry's house. On the way home we stopped at the Western Railway Museum. We got to ride two different trains and tour a bunch of old trains that were parked in the roundhouse! Landon loved the train rides and wanted to ride more. It was a great stop on the way home and one we will definately have to do again!

Snow at Timber Trails!

We stayed the weekend at our trailer up in Avery and were very surprised to wake up Sunday morning to a fresh blanket of snow. We had gone up for the weekend hoping to take Landon up to the snow, but it started raining and was really cold so we decided to just stay around Timber Trails. Landon was disappointed to say the least and really wanted to go to the snow! We went to bed Saturday night listening to the rain on the roof of the trailer. When we got up Sunday morning I opened up the shades to let in some sunlight and screamed at the sight of snow! Landon kept saying "now we don't have to go to the snow, the snow came camping with us!" We walked around outside and he kept asking, "What happened to the steps? What happened to the road? What happened to my trucks?" Everything was covered in snow! It snowed all morning and we found little hills to slide down on Landon's sled and had a ball just walking through the snow! When we were thoroughly cold from the snow we snuggled up in the adult center and watched tv for a little while before attempting to clean and pack everything up so we could head home! It was a great surprise ending to a wonderful family weekend!

Irish Day Parade

We took Landon up to Murphys for the Irish Day parade and he had a blast! He was so into the parade and waving at everyone! He was practically climbing out of his stroller to see what was coming next. He loved the firetrucks, big horses and the kids riding on the floats! This was Landon's first parade and I was actually impressed with how attentive he was- he wasn't bored for a second!

Snow Day!

We decided to take Landon up to the snow for the day a couple weeks ago. It had been raining for days and this was the first day the sun was out. It was a beautiful day and we had so much fun! We bought Landon a disc sled and found a place off the side of the road to go sledding and build a snowman. I couldn't believe how much Landon liked the snow- as compared to last year when he wouldn't even walk on it! He went down the hill on the sled by himself and loved eating the snow! It was a great family day!
